GAHF Inc. is registered in New York as a not-for-profit corporation, with approved 501(c)3 tax exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service (Tax Identification Number 20-2150112).

Goa-America Heart Foundation Trust (GAHFT) is a non-profit Charitable Trust registered in Goa. It has approval from the Indian Government to receive foreign contributions through GAHF Inc. Donations to Goa-America Heart Foundation Trust from India qualify for 50% tax deduction under 80G of the India Income Tax Act.

   GAHF Inc. has received many individual donations. The Goan Association of New Jersey, Inc. (GOANJ) having conducted a fund raiser, donated sizeable funds to the project. Also, the Goan Welfare Society of Kuwait, the Rotary Club of Redbridge, U.K. and the Goan Overseas Association of Washington DC have also donated. We are very grateful to all the individual donors and organizations for their monetary donations.
