Christopher Nunes - President - Formerly of Bristol-Myers Squibb for 31 years and retired as Associate Director, Worldwide Package Equipment Engineering. Former President of the Goan Association of New Jersey, Inc.

Wanda Colaco Gomes - Treasurer - Former Professor of English and Portuguese at Dhempe College, Panaji, Goa. Founder and Former Director of Tender Care on the Mount, Staten Island, New York. Senior Tax Advisor for H & R Block.

Vasant Baliga - Secretary - Chartered Accountant, formerly of Godrej, ICI, and Hoechst, and former CFO, Searle, India. Former CFO of Hampshire Hotels and Resorts, South Asia.

Rodolfo Colaco M.D., F.A.C.S., F.I.C.S. - General Surgery, Assistant Professor of Surgery, Seton Hall University, Program Director for General Surgery Residency, Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Trinitas Regional Health Center, Elizabeth, New Jersey.

Prabhat Karapurkar - Retired Registered Nurse. Volunteers as mentor in elementary school and community library.

Maxie Lewis - Chairman - Businessman and Consultant in industrial setup. Managing Director of Surekleen Services Pvt Ltd since 1999. involving laundry and rental operations. Owner of Lewis & Lewis a cosmetic manufacturing unit in Goa since 1998.

Aires Costa - Vice Chairman - Businessman and Restaurateur

Brian Barreto – Businessman involved in the hospitality and real estate sectors in the USA, now living in Goa and helping in social causes.

Divya Menezes M.D., M.A. - Secretary - Pediatrician. Having worked as a Pediatrician with different ethnic populations in USA and India, and having an M.A. in Counseling Psychology enables her to provide support and understanding of multicultural issues. She is involved in Prateek Menezes Memorial Foundation, a charitable organization.

Ralph deSousa - Businessman also engaged in social causes. Group Chairman, the DeSouza Group comprising resorts, travel and tourism, foreign exchange and construction activity. The Group owns four hotels in Goa and Trans Oriental Holidays Ltd; President, Travel & Tourism Association of Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry; Patron of Goa Heritage Action Group (monument listing and restoration).

NOTE: GAHF Inc. Board members Dr. Theodore Abraham, Vasant Baliga, Dr. Rodolfo Colaco, Wanda Colaco Gomes, Prabhat Karapurkar and Christopher Nunes are also on the Board of Trustees of GAHFT.

We are very grateful for the services of Averthanus D’Souza (Goa), Ralph D’Souza (USA), Dr. Anthony Gomes (USA), Ram Lakshman (Goa), Ian Martin (Goa), Dr. Basilio Monteiro (USA), Dr. Daniel Neville Mascarenhas (USA) , Dr. K. Deepak Murty (Goa) and Dr. Jose Vicente da Silva (USA). They served with great dedication and who along with current officers (Vasant Baliga, Ralph de Sousa, and Christopher Nunes) were the founding members of GAHF. We are also grateful for the services of Sergio Freitas (Goa), Natarajan Sriram (Goa) and Rita Karapurkar Williams (USA). Special thanks to Dr. Daniel Neville Mascarenhas for his pioneering spirit, insight, commitment and dedication in laying the groundwork for this cardiac clinic. We wish to pay tribute with our thanks and heartfelt appreciation to the contribution that late Dr. Victor DeSa (USA) as Secretary of GAHF Inc. had on the organization. We are indebted and so thankful for all that he did. May his soul RIP.
